Day 1. Mumbai (previously known as Bombay)

On arrival in Mumbai, meet India Luxury Train representative who will assist your transfers to the hotel. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 2. Mumbai - Ahmedabad

Morning cruise across Gateway of India (9 km) offshore the bay and visit Elephanta Caves notable for its gigantic rock cuts. The triple-headed Shiva sculpture on the Elephanta Island deserves special mention. After returning back, visit Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens of Malabar Hill, the highest point of Mumbai. From here, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Marine Drive and Chowpatti Beach. Later experience more of Mumbai with a visit to Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat and Gateway of India. Also, enjoy drive through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive & Flora Fountain. Day 3. Ahmedabad

Reach Ahmedabad at 06:00 hr and check in the hotel. Begin exploring Ahmedabad, the Manchester of the East through a visit to Sidi Sayed Mosque, famous for its exquisite and fine jail work. The spider web fine pattern in this heritage mosque depicts the intricate intertwining of the branches of a tree. Continue exploring mosque circuit with a visit to Jama Masjid. Later visit Hathee Singh Temple, carved entirely in white marble, Dada Hari Baoli, famous Calico Textile Museum and Mahatma Gandhi's Sabarmati Ashram.

Day 4. Ahmedabad - Udaipur

Full day free to explore the city. In evening, transfer to Railway station to board connecting Train # 9944 Ahmedabad - Udaipur Express dep. 23:05 hr to enter Rajasthan, the land of royals. Overnight on train.

Day 5. Udaipur

Arrive Udaipur at 07:40 hr. Check in assistance at Udaipur, the luxury capital of Rajasthan. In the noon time, enjoy the city tour with a visit to City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen's resort for her friends and attendants) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. Evening enjoy the mesmerizing boat ride on River Pichola, one of the iconic moments enjoyed at Udaipur. Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 6. Udaipur - Ranakpur – Jodhpur

In morning, drive to Jodhpur (259 km/6 hr) via Ranakpur. Ranakpur - 98 km from Udaipur is known for its exemplary marble temples dedicated to the Jainism. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur Temples are situated in the lovely Aravalli valley. Here, you will cherish the peaceful solitude amidst the picturesque beauty of Ranakpur Temples. These marble temples are defined by the extensive fusion of grand structures and beautiful sculptures. The center of attraction at Ranakpur is Adinatha Temple featuring 1444 pillars in the temple. Carved out of exquisite detailing, each of the pillars is different from the rest, lending a distinction to the temple. The magic of light & shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are the other attractions in this temple complex. In the evening, visit Osian, famed for ancient cultural heritage of ruined Brahmanical and Jain Temples. Fondly, the temple complex is also known as Khajuraho of Rajasthan. Experience the camel ride at Osian in evening. Continue your journey to Jodhpur. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 7. Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

Morning begin Jodhpur City Tour via an unforgettable visit to Mehrangarh Fort. This is an excellent specimen of Rajasthan's royalty. Located atop a low sandstone hill, this fort offers excellent views of the city draped in cool blue hues. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorial built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Check-out at 12:00 hr. Late evening, transfer to Railway station to connect Train # 4810 Jodhpur – Jaisalmer via Jaisalmer Express dep. 23:15 hr. Overnight on board.

Day 8. Jaisalmer

Morning arrive Jaisalmer at 05:15 hr. Later visit the Fort, bazaars & the old traditional mansions known as "havelis". People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work or frescoes. Evening visit Sam Sand Dunes on Camel Safari and discover the mystery of mystic dunes. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 9. Jaisalmer – Jaipur

Morning and afternoon is free leisure where you can explore the city on your own. In the afternoon, transfer to Railway station to board the connecting Train Jaipur # 4060 dep. 15:30 hr. Overnight on board.

Day 10. Jaipur

Early Morning arrive Jaipur at 04:55 hr. Morning visit Amber Fort on elephant back / Jeep. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan was coated with pink colour a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 11. Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri , the old Mughal capital. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Day 12. Agra - Delhi

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father. This tomb is famous as Baby Taj, and an inspiration behind Taj Mahal. Check-out at 1200 hr. Evening transfer to Railway station to connect Train # 2001 New Delhi Shatabdi Express dep.20:23 hr, Arrive New Delhi 22:30 hr. & transfer to hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on all Fridays)

Day 13. Delhi

Morning tour of tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Late evening transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
