Day 1. Cochin

After disembarking from Maharajas Express, board the flight for Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Cochin is the natural harbour created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the calmer the waters are within the Harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. Evening watch Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2. Cochin - Munnar

This morning drive to Munnar (130 kms /4 hrs), one of the popular hill stations of Kerala flooded with tea plantations. In the afternoon explore various tea plantations. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3. Munnar

Full day guided tour to Eravikulam National park, Mattupetty dam, Anamudi (the highest peak), Eco Point, Photo Point, various water falls etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Munnar - Thekkady

This morning drive to Thekkady (130 km / 4 hr). In the afternoon, boat cruise inside the national park. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5. Thekkady – Kumarakom

Morning natural safari inside the national park. Also find time to visit a spice plantation. In the afternoon drive to Kumarakom (120 kms / 3 hrs). Upon arrival check into hotel.

Day 6. Board houseboat for Alleppey

This morning visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Later Board houseboat from Alleppey. Staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Dinner and Overnight in the houseboat.

Day 7. Cochin

This morning disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey. Drive to Cochin and check into hotel. It has a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, Mosques & Hindu temples, Mattancherry Palace etc. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 8. Cochin / Out

This morning transfer to Cochin International airport to board flight for onward destination.
