Day 1. Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International airport, meet India Luxury Train representative who will assist your transfers to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2. Delhi
After breakfast, begin a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi including a visit to the Raj Ghat (Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar & India Gate (War Memorial). Drive past President House & Parliament House. Later transfer to the railway station to board the train to Varanasi by Train # 2560 Shiv Ganga Express dep. 18:30 hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 3. Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi at 07:30 hrs. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon begin an excursion to Sarnath, the site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon and turned the wheel of law. In the evening, visit River Ganges famous Ghats to attend the holy Aarti. Overnight stay.
Day 4. Varanasi
Early morning, begin the boat tour on River Ganges to visit Bathing Ghats. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, begin a city tour of Varanasi including a visit to various temples and noted Banaras Hindu University. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5. Varanasi – Khajuraho
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board connecting Flight 9W # 723 dep. 12:20 hr and arr. 13:00 hr. On arrival, transfer to Hotel. In afternoon, start the sightseeing of Khajuraho Temples, the sculpted temple specimen in Madhya Pradesh. These temples are a celebration of art and sculpture on architecture. Western, Eastern and Southern Group of Temples at Khajuraho depict the finesse, brilliance and intricacy of imagination of these celebrated medieval artists. However, the center of attraction in this world heritage temple complex is the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The towering spire of this temple is what makes it an imposing structure. Overnight stay.
Day 6. Khajuraho – Orchha – Jhansi – Agra
After breakfast, drive to Jhansi (190 km / 4 hr drive). En-route visit Orchha Temples. Upon arrival transfer to railway station to catch the train to Agra by Train # 2001 NDLS Shatabdi dep. 17:56 hr and arr. 20:25 hr. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7. Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
After breakfast, begin the Agra city tour visiting the world famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah. Later drive to Jaipur, (232 km/ 05 hr drive). En-route visit the unique deserted Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri still in excellent state of preservation. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel. (Taj Remains closed on Friday)
Day 8. Jaipur
After breakfast begin the day with an enriching excursion to Amber Fort. This fort, marked as the capital of Jaipur kingdom still preserves the rich legacy of the region. Here you can avail Elephant Ride OR Jeep Safari to ascend this mesmerizing hill fort. In afternoon, begin a city tour of Jaipur through Hawa Mahal - the palace of winds, the Observatory or Jantar Mantar. Later transfer to the railway station to board the train to Jaisalmer by Train # 4059 Jaisalmer Express dep. 23:57 hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 9. Jaisalmer
Arrive Jaisalmer at 12:45 hrs. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, drive to Khuri Village & Sand Dunes. It is a delightfully peaceful place with mud and straw decorated houses. Further proceed for 1 km away from village; you can see the magnificent patches of sand dunes. You can have camel ride here. People & village life can be seen on the way to Khuri in various villages. Overnight stay.
Day 10. Jaisalmer – Osian – Jodhpur
After breakfast, begin on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer including the 12th-15th century Jain temples, Folk Museum, Gadisar Tank & the colorfully painted homes known as Havelis. Later drive to Jodhpur 295 km or 6 hrs. Enroute visit the Osian Temples. Osian which is famous for cultural heritages and ancient temples. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11. Jodhpur
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, the blue city including a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort, Mahamandir Temple, Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and Mandore Garden. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 12. Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur
Drive to Jodhpur to Udaipur (285 km/ 06 hr). Enroute visit to the Ranakpur temples. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13. Udaipur – Delhi (Train)
After breakfast, begin on a city tour visiting City Palace, drive around Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (queen's resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). Later transfer to the railway station to board the train to Delhi by Train # 2964 Mewar Exp dep. 18:30 hr. Overnight on board.
Day 14. Delhi – Out
Arrive Delhi at 06:10 hr. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
